MP3 Lunatics Crazy For Songs

It’s all about the song.

I know that might sound obvious, but trust me… this belief is one of the things that makes the MP3 Lunatics unique.

To the Lunatics, all the music sites out there on the WWW seem the same. They all are still using corporate rock values to organize the music at their sites. Finding music by either artist or CD is just that. It simply ignores the individual work of music called the song. In every one of these all-too-familiar-looking websites, the building block of music is reduced to a text link lost in a list.

The Lunatics recognize and respect each song as a unique music composition. Each and every song is special, given life by its composer.

To the Lunatics, the WWW has enabled music to break away from the marketing shackles and corporate rock values of the last 30 years. Yes, bands create music. But the MP3 Lunatics know it’s still done one song at a time.

The Internet gives us the ability to improve this old school record store filing system. Each songcard found at all the Lunatics’ sites gives a song the true respect stand-alone exposure it deserves. Consequently, each MP3 file offered at the Lunatics’ sites has its own webpage.

Discovering, downloading, and enjoying music is done one song at a time. Shouldn’t music websites reflect that?
