Why don’t the MP3 Lunatics sell music?

Our music network’s focus is exposure for worthy music, regardless of whether or not it’s commercially viable. The MP3 Lunatics want the Music Lovers Playground to be open to all music creators.

As we know, the people who create music are all different. Some music creators make music to share, some make music to sell. Some music creators do it full time, some are hobbyists.

The MP3 Lunatics believe the creator of the music should determine where they want their music sold. Our Songcard can send music buyers to anywhere the music creator wishes to direct traffic. We are reaching the point where retail digital music options abound. NOT selling music at the Music Lovers Playground eliminates the commercial valuation from our exposure equation.

Everyone who publishes a Songcard at our MP3 blog and includes that music on their playlist does so because they personally enjoy the song and want to share it with others. Sources at MP3 4U and Committee Members at the MP3 Jackpot have as their only criteria their affection for the music. No commercial considerations affect their postings. The MP3 Lunatics firmly believe an exposure oriented music site (sans commerce) represents Online Music Fun at its finest.
